Here are some FAQ’s…
What is holistic wellness coaching?
Being “well” is about more than just physical fitness. There are several areas of life that need to be addressed and maintained to reach optimal wellness. These areas include physical, emotional, occupational, financial, social, intellectual, spiritual, and environmental wellness. When one of these areas is suffering, life becomes unbalanced and unhealthy. Holistic means that the parts of something are interconnected and can only be explained by a reference to the whole. We are not just a body, but a mind and a life with many different variables. Working with my clients, I strive to help them to create balance and wellness in all areas of life through education and practice.

I am a licensed Pound, Pound Unplugged and Generation Pound Pro. My current group fitness classes consist of Pound, Pound Unplugged, and yoga.
Why do you specialize in resiliency skills?
In 2001, my mom passed away. Two years later, I lost my brother. In 2011, my husband and I lost our fourth child when he was stillborn just a day shy of 36 weeks. My husband was diagnosed with cancer and passed away 7 months later in 2015. Three years later, I lost my dad. My grief journey has been long and extensive. Throughout this journey I have always had the desire to find and keep the joy in life. I began a blog in 2016 chronicling my day to day experiences of being a single, widowed mom of 4. I was amazed at the impact my blog had on others and the messages I received thanking me for sharing my story and spreading hope. In 2021 I published my first book, “Refuse to Sink”. Since then I have also published a journal to guide the writer to use journaling skills that develop resiliency. I have spent two decades searching for, learning, and continuing to practice skills that create resiliency in our lives. I have used researched techniques to design a workshop to use my experience to help others to thrive, not just survive after grief and trauma. We are all born with the gift of resiliency. This allows us to bounce back from life’s trials. When practiced over time, these skills will make our lives more joyful. I believe that we are here for a reason. We have one body, one mind, one life. It is up to us to live it to the fullest. I am here to use my own experiences, paired with hundreds of years of research, to help you live your own life with true joy.
